এসআইআর নিয়ে অসন্তোষ, রেল অবরোধ বর্ধমানে

রাজ্য  জুড়ে বিভিন্ন জেলাগুলোতেও এসআইআর নিয়ে বিক্ষোভ ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে। প্রশ্ন উঠছে এই বিক্ষোভ কি স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত ? নাকি উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিত ? এর উত্তর বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দল  নানারকমভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করতে চাইছে।  কিন্তু এই ধরনের বিক্ষোভে নির্বাচন কমিশনের কাজ ব্যাহত  হচ্ছে। এসআইআর-এর কাজ ঠিকভাবে পরিচালনা করা না গেলে নির্ভুল ভোটার লিস্ট তৈরিই হবে না। আর তা না হলে নির্বাচন করাও সম্ভব হবে না। সেই অচলাবস্থা কাটাতে হয়ত শেষ পর্যন্ত রাষ্ট্রপতিকেই হস্তক্ষেপ করতে হবে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মত রাজ্যে।

Aaj Khabor Desk — Burdwan, West Bengal, 24/01/2026 : Local residents staged a protest at Bardhaman railway station in West Bengal on Saturday afternoon, alleging harassment related to SIR verification and notices. Holding the national flag, protesters sat and lay on the railway tracks, leading to a sudden rail blockade that disrupted train services and caused severe inconvenience to passengers. The agitators demanded immediate resolution of the issue, claiming unnecessary trouble during the SIR process. Railway Police and local administration rushed to the spot to control the situation. Discussions are ongoing in phases with the protesters to lift the blockade and restore normal train operations.

This type of agitation is spreading at all over the state of West Bengal. but in this the schedule of the Election commission is being hampered. Is this disturbance intentional ?  The voter list will not be made if SIR remains incomplete. The election will not be held if the SIR is not done. What will be ultimately? The president of India has to be interfere.
