বাংলাদেশের মানবিক মুখ প্রতিষ্ঠা করার আশ্বাস দিচ্ছে জামাত ই ইসলামী
আজ খবর (বাংলা) [আন্তর্জাতিক], ঢাকা, বাংলাদেশ, ২৪/০১/২০২৬ : বাংলাদেশের জামাত ই ইসলামীর নেতা আমির শফিকুর রহমান একটি জনসভায় ভাষণ দিতে গিয়ে বলেন, ‘আগামী নির্বাচনে তাঁরা যদি ক্ষমতায় আসেন, তাহলে বাংলাদেশকে পাকিস্তান, আফগানিস্তান কিংবা ই, রান হয়ে যেতে দেবেন না।’
প্রতিবেশী রাষ্ট্র বাংলাদেশে এখনও অন্ত্রবর্তী তদারকি সরকার চলছে মহম্মদ ইউনূসের নেতৃত্বে। তবে আর কিছুদিন পরেই অর্থাৎ ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসের ১২ তারিখে নির্বাচন হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে সে দেশে, তাই নির্বাচনে যে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলি অংশ নেবে, তাদের তৎপরতা শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে। শুক্রবার রাতে রংপুর শহরে পাবলিক লাইব্রেরি মাঠে জামাত ই ইসলামীর নেতা আমির শফিকুর রহমান রাজনৈতিক ভাষণ দিতে গিয়ে বাংলাদেশের নতুন ভবিষ্যৎ নিয়ে ইতিবাচক আশ্বাস দেন।
ড.আমির শফিকুর রহমান বাংলাদেশের জামাত ই ইসলামীর একজন জনপ্রিয় নেতা। অতীতে এই নেতা বাংলাদেশের সংখ্যালঘু হিন্দুদের সমর্থনের কথা বলেছেন, বাংলাদেশে থাকা বিভিন্ন মন্দির পরিদর্শন করেছেন বং সেগুলিকে সংরক্ষণের কথাও বলেছেন। তিনি অতীতে বাংলাদেশের মহিলাদের বাইরে কাজ করতে যাওয়া এবং পোশাক স্বাধীনতার সপক্ষে রায় দিয়েছিলেন।
শুক্রবার জনসভায় আমির শফিকুর রহমান বলেন, “তাঁরা ক্ষমতায় এলে বাংলাদেশ বাংলাদেশই থাকবে, পাকিস্তান, আফগানিস্তান কিংবা ইরান হয়ে যাবে না।” মদিনার সনদ মেনেই তাঁরা চলবেন। বাংলাদেশে আর কেউ বেকার বা কর্মহীন থাকবে না। কোনো পরিবারেই বেকারত্ব থাকবে না। দেশে ন্যায় বিচার ও আইনের শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে। সকলেই সমান অধিকার পাবে। ধর্মের দিক থেকেও প্রত্যেক মানুষ সমান অধিকার ভোগ করবে। বাংলাদেশের মানবিক মুখ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হবে।”
বাংলাদেশের প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা সম্পর্কে আমির বলেন, “তিনি মানবতার জননী নন, তিনি নিষ্ঠুরতার জননী। আমরা বাংলাদেশের রাজনীতিতে আর কোনো ফ্যাসি বাদ দেখতে চাই না। ”
Aaj Khabor, Dhaka, Bangladesh | January 24, 2026 — Jamaat-e-Islami leader Dr. Ameer Shafiqul Rahman, while addressing a public rally in Rangpur, stated that if his party comes to power in the upcoming national elections, Bangladesh will not turn into Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Iran. He assured that the country would retain its own identity and follow the principles of justice and equality.
Bangladesh is currently under an interim caretaker government led by Muhammad Yunus, with national elections scheduled for February 12. As the election date approaches, political activities have intensified across the country.
Speaking at the Public Library Ground in Rangpur, Dr. Rahman presented a vision of a humane and inclusive future for Bangladesh. He emphasized governance based on the Charter of Medina, promising rule of law, equal rights for all citizens, religious freedom, and the eradication of unemployment so that no family remains jobless.
Dr. Rahman, a prominent Jamaat-e-Islami leader, has previously expressed support for minority Hindu communities, visited temples, and spoken in favor of their preservation. He has also publicly supported women’s right to work outside the home and freedom of dress.
Criticizing former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he said she should not be called the “Mother of Humanity” but rather the “Mother of Cruelty,” adding that he does not want to see any form of fascism return to Bangladeshi politics.
