স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী অমিত শাহের সাথে দেখা করতে চান অভয়ার বাবা মা

অভয়ার বাবা-মা সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, “আমরা এখনঁও  আশাবাদী, আমাদের আশাবাদী থাকতেই হবে। আমরা মনে করি বিচার এখনো পুরো হয় নি, এই বিচার আমরা গ্রহণ করি না। আদালত কক্ষে আমাদের প্রবেশাধিকার ছিল না। সাক্ষীর সাক্ষ্যেও ছিল পরস্পর বিরোধী কথাবার্তা। বন্ধ ঘরে শুনানি হয়েছিল, আমাদের প্রবেশ করার অনুমতি দেওয়াও  হয় নি।  আমরা অমিত শাহের সাথে দেখা করে এটাই বলতে চাই যে সিবিআই ঠিকমত তদন্ত করে নি। তারা যদি ঠিকমত তদন্ত করতো, তাহলে এতদিনে সত্যিটা সামনে আসতো।  মাত্র একজন দোষী সাব্যস্ত হত না।”

এদিন অভয়ার বাবা মা অভিযোগ করেন রাজ্যের বেশ কিছু রাজনৈতিক দল তাঁদেরকে আসন্ন বিধানসভা নির্বাচনে প্রার্থী হওয়ার প্রস্তাব দিয়েছে। তাঁরা সে সব প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছেন ।  ওরা চার কোটি টাকা দেওয়ার প্রস্তাব দিয়েছিল। তাও তাঁরা প্রত্যাখ্যান করেছেন।  তাঁরা আর কিছুই চান না, তাঁরা শুধু চান তাঁদের মেয়ের অপরাধীরা যেন শাস্তি পায়।

Aaj Khabor Desk, Panihati, North 24 Parganas, 30/01/2026 : The parents of Abhaya, the medical student allegedly assaulted at RG Kar Hospital, have expressed their desire to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Barrackpore on January 30. They want to convey their dissatisfaction with the CBI investigation, alleging it has not been conducted properly and has failed to uncover the full truth or identify all those responsible for their daughter’s suffering. They also plan to raise allegations of corruption against the Trinamool Congress government. Abhaya’s parents said they still hope for justice, claiming the trial process lacked transparency and fair access. They further revealed that several political parties offered them money and assembly election tickets, which they firmly rejected, stating their only demand is punishment for the culprits.
