সংসদে রিপোর্ট কার্ড পেশ করছেন নির্মলা সীতারামন

দেশের বাজেট পেশ করার আগে একটি অর্থনৈতিক সমীক্ষা পেশ করতে হয়। এই মুহূর্তে দেশের অর্থনীতির কি অবস্থা তা জানাতে হয়। সেই অনুযায়ী রাজস্ব পরিকল্পনার একটি বিবরণও পেশ করতে হয়, এটাই প্রচলিত রীতি। কেন্দ্রীয় বাজেটের আগে এই ধরনের রিপোর্টগুলি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। সেই অনুযায়ী আজ অর্থমন্ত্রী শ্রীমতি নির্মলা সীতারামন সংসদে হাজির হয়ে যাবতীয় তথ্যাদি পেশ করতে শুরু করেছেন।

কেন্দ্রীয় বাজেট পেশ করার আগে এই অর্থনীতির সমীক্ষাকেই ‘রিপোর্ট কার্ড’ বলা হয়।  যে রিপোর্টে গত বছরের  সমগ্র অর্থনীতি, পরিকল্পনা এবং রূপায়িত সাফল্য বা ব্যর্থতার পূর্ণ চিত্র ধরা পড়ে।  এই বছর যা বাজেট হিসেবে প্রকাশিত হবে, তা আগামী বছরের জন্যে ‘রিপোর্ট কার্ড’ হিসেবে গণ্য হবে।ভারত  বর্তমান সময়ে বিশ্বের অর্থনৈতিক মানচিত্রে  দ্রুত তৃতীয় অর্থনীতির দেশ হিসেবে উঠে আসতে  চাইছে। সেক্ষেত্রে বহির্বাণিজ্যের পাশাপাশি দেশের আভ্যন্তরীন বাজেটকেও সমৃদ্ধ করে তুলতে হবে। সেক্ষেত্রে আভ্যন্তরীন রাজস্ব আদায়ের জন্যেও সঠিক পদক্ষেপ ও পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করতে হবে।

With India aspiring to become the world’s third-largest economy, the survey highlights the need to strengthen both foreign trade and domestic revenue generation through effective fiscal planning.
