‘প্রাণ নিয়েছে বেঁচে ফিরেছি সেটাই এখনও বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না’
আজ খবর (বাংলা), [রাজ্য] তমলুক, পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর, ২৮/০১/২০২৬ : ওঁরা যে বেঁচে আছেন তাই যেন ওঁদের বিশ্বাস হচ্ছে না। আগুন ওঁদেরকে স্পর্শ করেও গ্রাস করতে পারে নি। মৃত্যুপুরী থেকে প্রাণ নিয়ে কোনোরকমে পালিয়ে এসেছেন ওঁরা নিজেদের বাড়িতে।
আনন্দপুর কারখানায় জতুগৃহের মত অবস্থা হয়েছিল। ঘুমের মধ্যেই মৃত্যুর কোলে ঢলে পড়তে হয়েছে অনেককে। এখনো নিখোঁজ রয়েছেন কেউ কেউ। পুলিশ বা দমকল কেউই জানাতে পারে নি সেদিন কিভাবে আগুন লেগে গিয়েছিল। যাঁরা সেই কারখানায় রাতে শুয়ে ঘুমোচ্ছিলেন, তাঁরাও কেউ কিচ্ছু জানতে বা জানাতে পারেন নি কিভাবে আগুন লেগে গিয়েছিল। কিভাবেই বা তাঁরা নিজেদের প্রাণ বাঁচাতে পেরেছিলেন। তাঁদের কাছে শুধু এটুকুই বাস্তব যে এখনো তাঁরা বেঁচে আছেন।
আনন্দপুর কারখানা থেকে আহত অবস্থায় কোনোক্রমে প্রাণ বাঁচিয়ে তমলুকের গ্রামে ফিরে এসেছেন শান্তনু, বিমলরা। আজ সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নে তাঁরা সেদিনের ভয়াল অভিজ্ঞতার কথা জানিয়েছেন। আগুনে পোড়ার চিহ্ন তাঁদের শরীরে রয়েছে। আর চোখে মুখে স্পষ্ট রয়েছে আতঙ্কের ছাপ। কত দিনে তাঁরা ফের স্বাভাবিক হতে পারবেন তা তাঁরা জানেন না।
